WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sen. Jim Banks, R-Ind., on April 20 released a statement after his appointment as chairman of the Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.
Banks said, “I’m grateful for this opportunity to help more workers get the training they need and support American manufacturing. Rebuilding our industry starts with supporting the people who keep this country running and making sure working Americans can get ahead.”
The Senate HELP Committee is led by Chairman Bill Cassidy, R-La., and has three subcommittees that have jurisdiction over health care, education, employment and retirement policies.
