Jim Banks began his first term as a U.S. Senator earlier in January 2025 after four terms serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.
He says his goals in the Senate are to follow President Trump’s goals. Those include securing the border, being tough on China, and creating more jobs.
According to Banks, when it comes to voting for or against a proposed law, he thinks about what would be best for Hoosiers and the rest of the country.
